Duties
- Perform Masterful System Testing in functional, regression, and integration testing of client, server, and web-based applications to the forefront on a mainframe
- Perform end-to-end testing in E2E integrated testing and ensure the seamless flow of operations
- Conduct defect lifecycle management
- Write compelling user stories, test plans, and test cases
- Expertly execute them and navigate the intricate path of defect lifecycle management
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other tools, creating epics, stories, and tasks, and deftly maneuvering dashboards and reports
- Navigate the twists and turns of Agile methodologies with ease
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- 3 years of working experience as a QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or Mainframe Tester
- Payments domain experience or financial industry experience is required
- Prior experience of working on Mainframe systems is required
- Experience in system testing including functional, regression, and integration testing of client, server, and web-based applications
- Experience in E2E integrated testing
- Ability to write user stories, test plans, test cases, execute those, and open and manage defect life cycle
- Sound knowledge of Jira including epics, stories, tasks, issues, dashboard, reports, and defects
- Knowledge of Zephyr
- Knowledge of the check processing and clearing process in the financial system is a plus
- Knowledge of automation functional & and regression testing tools
