JOB
This position is responsible for the maintenance of department facilities and equipment as assigned. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Cleans and prepares the administration area of Station 6-1 for business operations.Conducts or coordinates grounds maintenance for all Central stations to include fertilizing and cutting grass, trimming trees and shrubs, collecting litter, etc.Conducts or coordinates building maintenance for all Central stations as assigned and authorized.Performs courier duties; delivers packages and supplies.Restocks operational supplies as each station.Assists in the installation of office equipment and fixtures.Assists with minor vehicle repairs as assigned.Assists in coordinating department functions, including training events, awards ceremonies, and large group meetings.Conducts or coordinates snow removal from sidewalks, parking lots, and training grounds.Attends required training.Purchases supplies from vendors.Maintains records of work performed.When staffing the EOC performs the functions assigned by the Event Commander to efficiently and effectively respond and manage an incident.Performs related duties.
