- Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation, and report variances.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain appropriate internal controls.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team on financial matters, including financial performance, investments, and business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee treasury, cash management, investment activities, and risk management.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual report and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
- Evaluate and manage the company's capital structure, funding, and financing arrangements.
- Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA/CFA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial principles, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
