- Operate a manual mill or CNC mill to create precision extrusion tooling. Develop and/or modify programs as needed.
- Operate a wire EDM to create precision extrusion tooling. Develop and or modify programs as needed.
- You can use a manual lathe to make aluminum rollers, other components, and/or a surface grinder to precision grind die plates.
- Design and build fixtures and clamps for custom work piece holding
- Support the Maintenance Department on specialized projects (ex. equipment installation, motor alignment, and fabricate replacement parts).
- Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance in the machine shop. (ex. changing filters, lubricating machine parts, cleaning guides).
- Support product development and tool modifications.
