Construction Estimator

Job Overview:

Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Estimator, where you will play a crucial role in the cost estimation process for our diverse construction projects. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost control measures are in place throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting $10MM commercial construction projects and contribute to their successful completion.

Duties:

- Utilize your expertise in construction estimating to provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for various projects.

- Collaborate with project management teams to develop comprehensive project budgets and timelines.

- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.

- Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget constraints.

- Conduct on-site visits to construction sites to assess progress and potential cost implications.

- Utilize construction management software for efficient estimation processes.

- Assist in overall construction management activities to support project success.

Qualifications:

- Proven track record in construction estimating, including a strong background in hard bid and or negotiated work.

- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.

- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents.

- Proficiency in construction management software for estimation purposes.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
