The Shelter for Help in Emergency is seeking a compassionate, client-centered Case Manager/Advocate to provide individualized support and advocacy services to adult victims of domestic/intimate partner violence. A successful candidate will have experience with crisis intervention, individualized case management, and data collection and documentation of services. As a person-centered role, the Case Manager must be comfortable working with persons of diverse backgrounds and acting as liaison with other social service providers and allied professionals. Other responsibilities include answering our crisis hotline and providing residential facility coverage.
Case Managers generally work Monday – Friday during daytime hours, with evening hours once per week. Limited On-Call and weekend hours may be required.
Persons interested in social change work in the area of intimate partner violence are encouraged to apply. Bachelor’s Degree in human services-related field is required; Master's Degree is preferred. 3 years of relevant experience may be substituted for Master’s Degree.
