Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on production and facility related equipment.
• Lube, oil, clean and maintain production equipment in good operating condition.
• Adjust production equipment to insure good operating condition, including adjusting v-belts, and hydraulic systems replacing hoses, tightening loose connections and hardware, etc.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders, ride in scissor lift, man lift at heights up to 35’ off of the floor and go on the roof and use a ladder and trap door.
• Support established cleaning schedule and respond to requests for emergency spills, leaks, or other sanitation issues such as the clean-up of blood or other body fluids per the Exposure Control Plan.
• To be able to work overtime if it’s necessary or on weekend.

Experience/other expertise, required training, special certifications, etc.:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic working with PLC, hydraulic and manufacturing machinery.
• Required to Speak, Read, Write, and Understand English.
• Facilities Grades B2 – B5 including Ceiling Tiles, Hand & Power Tools, Painting, Lighting, Plumbing, Basic Electricity, Ability to complete documentation of Work Instructions,
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout Procedures Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
