Job Description: As a Freelance SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies for our clients. Your primary goal will be to improve their website rankings on search engines, drive organic traffic, and enhance overall online visibility. You will work closely with our content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits for client websites to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
• Perform keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords.
• Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URL structures, and images.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.
• Generate and implement backlink-building strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to clients.
• Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly content.
• Troubleshoot technical SEO issues and recommend solutions.
• Advise on strategies to improve user experience (UX) and conversion rates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
• Provide a sample of an audit report.
• Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Work Schedule:

• Remote - EST or CST preferred
• Audit Report - Average time to complete this should take five to ten hours.
• Implementation - Oversee the new process to implement can expect three to six months.
