THIS ROLE IS HYBRID IN CHICAGOPosition Overview
- Prepare and file accurate and timely corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Research and interpret tax regulations, rulings, and laws.
- Identify tax savings opportunities.
- Resolve tax notices and inquiries.
- Advise management on the tax implications of business decisions.
- Maintain updates of tax law changes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or EA certification preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Master's In Taxation a PLUS
- 5 years of experience in Tax Accounting.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of individual, business tax, sales/use tax, payroll tax, and foreign taxation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
