DescriptionThe Inventory Control Supervisor directs inventory team activities through the analysis, implementation and the use of warehouse and store inventory management systems. This person will ensure systems and programs are sufficient to achieve company inventory requirements.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the inventory control process.
- Develop and update procedures for inventory control processes
- Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory issues quickly
- Tracks and monitors by working with team to achieve daily physical cycle counts of selections and LTO operations and auditing process and accountability measures to support company KPI's
- Direct the scheduling of physical inventories (cycle counts, empty locations)
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving, shipping and other inventory areas
- Lead loss prevention investigations
- Provide a high visibility on shifts to ensure effective inventory practices are being followed in all areas of the distribution center
Prior inventory control experience required - minimum 3 - 5 years
Expert knowledge in Microsoft applications. Working knowledge of WMS/WIN Business Objects, DLX, vocollect or other warehouse management systems
Ability to work flexible schedule across various shifts (1st and 3rd) including weekends
