The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of DEZ Development LLC. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our financial decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and improve our accounting systems.
Responsibilities
•Develop and oversee financial procedures and policies to ensure accurate financial reporting
•Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
•Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
•Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize financial performance
•Supervise accounting team and provide guidance on complex financial issues
Qualifications
•3 years of accounting experience
•Experience in the real estate industry
•Proficiency with US Work Authorization laws
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
