Currently I have an opening for a Process Development Scientist located in Clayton, NC. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• This contract Process Development Scientist/Engineer position is in the Process Development and Technology department.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for study execution at bench-scale and pilot-scale related to manufacturing support and process transfer projects.
• Responsibilities include cGMP documentation, data review, and writing technical documents.
• The incumbent will be expected to work effectively under general supervision and contribute to the team effort to support R&D projects.
• The individual will perform protein purification techniques including but not limited to precipitation, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, and filtration.
• The candidate will perform accurate technical/cGXP documentation of activities and analyze / interpret analytical results.
• The candidate will need strong technical writing skill to author study protocols and reports.
• Bachelors or Masters graduate with 1 year of experience in protein purification.

Technical Information:

• 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent
• Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
• Pay: $35-40 hourly, depending on experience level
