- Monitor vital signs, assess pain levels, and administer medications as needed.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care instructions and recovery expectations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Education:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure and Certification:
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire)
- PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or Emergency Department
- PACU experience in an acute care setting is preferred
