The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain.
- Input invoices and match PO’s
- Verify bills, match quote
-Develop and implement purchasing strategies that support production planning and inventory control
-Source, negotiate, and procure materials, goods, and services from vendors
-Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials
-Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationship
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
-Utilize inventory control systems to track purchases and maintain accurate records
-Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing
-Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing
-Knowledge of inventory control systems and logistics processes
-Familiarity with contract management and vendor relations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Standard computer skills
