Precision Products Group is Hiring a Shift Supervisor Near Columbia, IN
- Communicates with Production Manager to understand product manufacturing priorities; conducts daily shift start-up meetings to communicate priorities and objectives.
- Monitors work practices to ensure employee compliance with Company processes, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Oversees achievement of the Company’s quality objectives as they relate to manufacturing.
- Records employee performance issues and recommends actions to manufacturing manager.
- Communicates job expectations; trains and coaches’ employees on job requirements; evaluates job results.
- Provides job expertise, answers employee production questions
- Assists in the selection, orientation, and training of production floor employees.
- Maintains organization and efficient workflow in assigned production area.
- Coaching employees for improved performance.
- Functions as liaison between employees and management.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
