Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in the Howard County, MD area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
- Respond to alarms and security incidents in a timely manner
- Enforce property regulations and guidelines
- Provide assistance to customers and employees when needed
- Complete detailed reports on security incidents and observations

Requirements:

- Prior experience in security or related field preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
- Familiarity with surveillance procedures
- Strong conflict management skills
- Background in law enforcement or military is advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Columbia, MD (Required)
