Job DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITIONAs a member of the leadership team, the Director of Operations, participates in the implementation of the mission, vision, values and goals of the organization. Collaborates with other leaders to develop and maintain Clinic performance metrics and processes. Leads and manages efforts to enhance the strategic use of data and analytic tools to improve Clinic outcomes. Ensures responsible medical supply spending practices, helps develop budgets, and assures that tracking and inventory of supplies and equipment purchases are in compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • In conjunction with the CEO and management team, the Director of Ops participates in the implementation of the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization, including high quality, patient focused health care.
  • Works with other leadership to develop and maintain Clinic performance metrics and processes to help drive management decision making, performance, and on-going accountability which includes clinical, financial and operational metrics.
  • Works to ensure the dissemination of accurate, reliable, timely, accessible information to help practice managers and staff actively identify and address opportunities to improve patient care, patient safety, satisfaction, and related processes.
  • Leads and manages efforts to enhance the strategic use of data and analytic tools to continuously improve clinical care processes and outcomes.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data related to clinical, financial, and operational performance, identifying trends and issues, facilitating the development of timely action plans toward performance improvement.
  • Works actively and collaboratively with staff throughout the organization.
  • Ensures responsible medical supply spending practices, helps develop budgets, and assures that tracking and inventory of supplies and equipment purchases are in compliance with operating budget.
  • In collaboration with the CEO and other designated staff, helps to prepare and ensure risk management trainings and activities, including incident reporting and management, and annual staff trainings.
  • Lead and manage the work of the Practice Managers and the day to day Clinic Operations.
  • Work with CMO to manage day to day Workday assignments for all providers.
  • Develop knowledge of county opportunities, needs, and strengths; represent CHS in community meetings and events
  • Work with Clinic Managers to identify, track, and implement marketing efforts and events in each community.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Must have progressive management experience in primary care or integrated care clinics.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience in process improvement and facilitation.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities, knowledge of health information technology in integrated primary care settings, including design and use of data to improve quality.
QualificationsEducation Level Master’s degree in a clinical or administrative discipline from an accredited college or university.
Years Of ExperienceMinimum of 3 years progressive management experience in a primary care or integrated healthcare clinic is required
