Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Location: Concord, MA

Rate: $2,600 Weekly

Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - Nights

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting to the Emergency Department with various medical conditions and injuries.
• Conduct initial assessments of patients, including triage, vital signs measurement, and comprehensive health history collection.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians or advanced practice providers.
• Perform emergency procedures such as wound care, splinting, and basic life support interventions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and interventions, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to emergency care and patient safety.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of MA.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or a related acute care setting.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
• Knowledge of emergency nursing standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
