MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of course work in an accredited college, university or equivalent.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to obtain Certified Minnesota Assessor designation within three years of employment.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
This position involves extensive walking including navigating stairs, hallways and ramps. Candidate must be physically able to inspect properties and drive a vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting or related field
One year prior assessing, appraisal, residential construction or real estate background.

EQUIPMENT/JOB LOCATION:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position works primarily in the field, so exposure to inclement weather is likely. When working in the office, exposure to computer monitors is typical. This position works closely with others in a cubicle environment.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Obtain Accredited Minnesota Assessor license within five years of receiving CMA license
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Outside employment doing appraisal work is not allowed
