About the Role The CMC Project Manager leads the orderly progression of projects from the proposal stage through project completion by interacting with the client, technical team, and business development team. This role provides program direction and manages timelines and project controls across internal functional and organizational lines and with external clients. As CMC Project Manager, your responsibilities will include providing the necessary program direction for planning, organizing, developing, and integrating projects across multiple functional areas. You are expected to closely monitor and control project progression to ensure your projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The CMC Project Manager supports the technical team in investigating any project challenges using our risk assessment tools and techniques. Since we are a CDMO, you will also represent the company in project meetings, prepare the meeting agenda, and be responsible for following up on action items. You will: Report project progress to all key stakeholders. Serve as liaison with client contacts, manage day-to-day communications, and organize project team meetings. Evaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvements. Prepare Project Change Orders with input from key stakeholders. Effectively build project teams. Cultivate effective communication, cooperation, and trust with clients. Your profile: One of the qualifications we are looking for in our new CMC Project Manager is strong and effective project management skills, with a proven record of accomplishment of working cross-functionally across a wide variety of technical, business, and operational areas. You have: A minimum of 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience in CMC process development and/or GMP manufacturing. A Master’s (MS) in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a similar field is preferred. Proven experience in creating and implementing successful plans and processes to solve complex problems. The ability to work closely with team members across all CMC-related business units and with the management team to ensure coordination of all efforts and real-time communication with all stakeholders. A self-starter, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented personality. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal, written, and presentation skills). Are you up for the challenge?
