A client of The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Coppell, TX. This individual will focus on forecasting, planning, and reporting processes, as well as financial analysis. They will support multiple VPs and Directors and work closely with business leaders to create financial outlook and guidance for the company.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or quantitative field
• 5 years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
• 5 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
• 2 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience with ERP systems and planning and consolidation tools; including, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle, HFM, Hyperion Essbase, and SmartView
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence peers, subordinates, executive management, and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Key resource leading the In-Year financial planning process (i.e., annual operating plan, bi-weekly/monthly forecasting, and outlining financial risks and opportunities).
• Utilizing solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders.
• Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
• Collecting and analyzing quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to performance management across core operating functions.
