**Job Overview:** Floating Phlebotomist for area near Corbin,KY. No overnight travel, gas card and M-F hours.

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research. **Responsibilities:**

- Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to collect blood samples

- Label vials with patient names and dates

- Organize and send specimens to the laboratory for testing

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner

- Ensure patient comfort during the blood drawing process

**Qualifications:**

- Certification in Phlebotomy or related field

- Proficiency in blood sampling techniques, including venipuncture

- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to phlebotomy

- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred

- Understanding of vital signs and their importance in phlebotomy procedures
