**Job Description:**
We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Part-Time Music Instructors who have a passion for working with children and a solid background in music. It's a plus if you are a multi-instrumentalist, so proficiency in one or multiple instruments and/or singing experience is highly desired. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality music education to students of various ages and skill levels. Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to manage time effectively are crucial for this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Teach music lessons to children in a variety of settings within Contra Costa County.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about students' progress and any areas needing improvement.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Participate in occasional team meetings and training sessions.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
- Proficiency in one or multiple musical instruments and/or singing experience.
- Excellent time management skills and reliability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for music and education.
- Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
