Located in the Chicago suburb of Countryside, Illinois, Nyco Products Company is a premier cleaning chemicals manufacturer of professional cleaners, floor care chemicals, disinfectants, and sanitary maintenance brands. Founded in 1920 and family owned, Nyco has a rich history of innovating cleaning products and solutions for a wide range of industries and markets including building and facilities maintenance, janitorial cleaning, industrial cleaning, food processing, healthcare, and education.
The main responsibilities of the Production Scheduler include the following. Other duties may be necessary:

  • Review production orders to ascertain product ship dates in order to schedule production requirements.
  • Plan production operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing to ensure product quality and ship times are met.
  • Create and review production and operating reports to resolve issues and prevent operational delays. Strong Excel knowledge is required.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Purchasing and Labelling to plan and schedule product, label availability, and review raw material lead times.
  • Maintain operational and equipment supplies to ensure minimal interruptions in production.
  • Work closely with the production team on communicating and meeting daily productions goals.

Competencies required for this position include:

  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products. Southware experience is a plus!
  • Project/change management skills are key, as this position will develop, coordinate, and champion process and procedure changes.
  • Ability to communicate process, procedures, and work activity across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple priorities and make independent decisions on the best course of action required to meet customer needs.
