IUOE Local 150 is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Countryside, IL

SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of clerical duties according to established policies and procedures along with assisting the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in various duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for daily mail processing, window transactions and daily processing of bank deposits.
  • Window duties for members’ dues payment
  • All phases of customer service regarding dues for members, companies, business agents and all district offices.
  • Assist in communication pertaining to members disability credit eligibility, retirement status change, and arrangements for deceased members.
  • Assist in scanning hard copy documents to member records.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or completion of a G.E.D.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Oral and written communications skills.
  • Interpersonal relations skills.
  • Personal computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Customer service skills, public relations skills, and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, use time efficiently, and demonstrate attention to details.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Operating knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as telephones, copier, fax machine, e-mail, etc.
