This Parent Partner/IHBS Provider is responsible for providing in-home support services and related activities with parent/caregiver of client receiving field-based services.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
· High School Diploma/GED and one to three years of experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents and their families; or some college with an emphasis on social work/psychology plus experience providing direct service to the target population.
· Personal experience of having a child or children who have received services through Department of Mental Health, Department of Children and Family Services or Probation, required.
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
· Obtain, within 30 days of employment, Pro-ACT, Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification and maintain such certification current through the term of employment with SGCC.
· Maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance if transporting clients/families. Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 5 years.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain Live Scan clearance, pre-employment physical, TB test and drug test.
