We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and dedicated Permanent Ultrasound Tech to join our innovative team in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Ultrasound Tech, your primary duties will include
- Performing high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Providing clear and accurate documentation of findings for review by physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintaining and operating ultrasound equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety at all times.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of our ultrasound services.
- Participating in quality assurance activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of our ultrasound services.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families, helping them to understand the ultrasound process and any associated findings.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech, Ultrasound Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer.
- Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Excellent technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A patient-centered approach, with a commitment to providing compassionate, respectful care.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning, with a willingness to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of ultrasound technology.
