Clinical Director- School Based

The Help Group’s nine specialized day schools offer pre-K through high school programs for more than 1,000 students. Its broad range of mental health and therapy services and vocational and residential programs extend its reach to more than 6,000 children and their families each year, including innovative affirming programming for LGBTQ youth. With more than 700 staff members, The Help Group’s state-of-the-art schools and programs are located on six campuses in the Los Angeles area.
QualificationsLMFT, LCSW , Ph.D. or Psy.D. In Psychology from a regionally accredited graduate school and California licensed for three years in Psychology. Minimum five years clinical experience with specific expertise in the area of child and family treatment, three years supervisory experience,. Required courses completed in compliance with respective board.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • The Director will have clinical and administrative responsibility for all staff within the Community Therapist Department.
  • Oversee clinical and administrative aspects of School Based Programs.
  • Supervise assigned therapists, other clinical supervisors as assigned.
  • Oversee the delivery of quality clinical services and quality control plans
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties.
  • Hire and supervise program staff to ensure the delivery of quality services.
  • Evaluate staff's progress and performance.
  • Ensure that clinical staff maintain documentation in a responsible manner and meet all paperwork and paperwork deadline requirements. Oversee caseload assignments, ensure expected productivity levels are met.
  • Responsible for staff development, including team building and morale.
  • Participate in Program planning including involvement in developing grant proposals.
  • Implement and evaluate program services.
  • Liaison with funding agencies.
  • Liaison with school administrators and staff.
  • Oversee data collection and prepare reports for Quality Management meetings
  • Assist in development of procedures and policies
  • Participate scheduled staff meetings, Agency wide meetings, utilization review meetings, and other meetings as assigned and conduct weekly meetings when necessary.
  • Run weekly staff meetings.
  • Maintain current child abuse legislation and reporting laws.
  • Conduct all functions in accordance with Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethics.
  • Maintain client information in a confidential manner.
  • Provide 24 hour availability and crisis intervention to staff as needed.
Salary Range : $78,000.00 to $80,000.00
The position is located in Culver City, CA.
