Overview/Project DetailsOur client's Synthetic Data Group is seeking an experienced Producer to support the production of 3D synthetic data for developing real-time on-device Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excel in a multi-functional team supporting both internal and external content production needs.
This critical role involves closely collaborating with the manager to manage schedules and ensure plans are realistic and align with overall team objectives. The Producer will perform project management tasks to ensure smooth operations and alignment, working closely with 5-6 internal leads from various art disciplines—such as character artists, environment artists, and technical artists—to ensure cohesive and aligned plans.
As a Producer, you will focus on enhancing production quality and project health for synthetic data development through effective organizational support. You will leverage your production and project management experience to push for efficiency, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of multiple synthetic data milestones. You will coordinate daily standups, update and plan schedules, and work with internal and external teams, including outsourcing groups, to keep everything on track. A good understanding of working with artists and a creative background are essential for this role.
Must Have Skills
- At least 7 years of experience as a Producer/Project Manager
- Production experience in games, film, or similar industry
- Experience working with artists, understands art schedules
- Experience working with teams of 50
- Ensure deadlines are met and communicated clearly to stakeholders
- Experience managing development of digital content and working directly with artist and engineers
- Successful in simultaneously managing multiple internal and external development schedules
- Able to identify resource contention, dependencies, blockers, risks, and push for mitigation strategies
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage time for others
- Detail oriented, tracks performance, metrics, asset requirements, and quickly learn new concepts and terminology
- Able to lead small initiatives without significant oversight
- Experienced tracking content deliverables, invoices, payments, and budgets
- Comfortable working in Agile, Scrum, and JIRA
- They will work with a lot of projects that are undisclosed, so this person must be able to perform in an ambiguous environment
- Synthetic data experience
- Developing synthetic data content for machine learning, and computer vision
- Ability to identify opportunities for workflow and efficiency improvements
- Can work quickly and be flexible in a prototyping environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Discretion in handling confidential materials and issues
- Excels under pressure, maintaining a calm demeanor
- Proficient in Mac OS environment
- Assist in tracking and updating budgets using Quip documents and utilize JIRA for project management tasks
- Lead stand-up meetings and coordinate and execute tasks to ensure project milestones are met. This role demands strong coordination and execution skills to effectively manage both internal and external teams, drive schedules, and ensure successful project outcomes
