Western Reserve Hospital is Hiring a PACS Administrator Near Cuyahoga Falls, OH
DescriptionOversees operation of PACS equipment. Ensures proper operation of image data transfer into the PACS as well as network transmission, RIS validation, and exceptions handling. Manages and supports the PACS processes including policy and procedures development, ongoing application support and training. Writes queries for information requests. Interacts directly with management and users to analyze and specify system applications. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure; ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values. Ensures system integrity and troubleshoots any issues.
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science required.
- Four (4) years related experience may be substituted for education requirement.
- Two (2) years’ experience in an information system environment; healthcare/radiology information system experience required.
- Work experience must include understanding of network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and database management.
- Must have and maintain technical computer skills.
