HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST - BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE - Full- Time (30 hrs. per week)

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Dayton is a 59-bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health issues.

We do that by focusing on the whole person. Our customized, team approach to mental health and addiction treatment helps patients build on their strengths through expert strategies in an inpatient setting.

Our hospitals are committed to the highest standards of quality, safety and performance. We don’t just treat the symptoms of mental illness or addiction;

our care focuses on the whole person. We are looking to add a part time HR Specialist to our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Specialist performs confidential administrative tasks associated with the human resources management of the hospital, assisting with recruitment, compliance, risk management, workers’ compensation, orientation of new employees and record keeping.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

High School Diploma or equalivant

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, preferably performing a combination of HR, payroll and administrative job duties.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations preferred
  • Strong communications skills.
