Summary
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that staffing needs are met in the most cost-efficient manner. Must meet all federal and state guidelines.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Other staffing or administrative duties as assigned by Administrator, Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing
Other Duties
Assists department staff in identifying and correcting problem areas and improving services.
Attend and participate in in-service education classes and on-the-job training programs as required.
Interacts with facility staff.
Performs other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention / participation may be required.
May be required to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, additional hours, and in different positions as facility’s needs require.
Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant
Must possess the ability to positively interact with staff, residents, vendors, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with staffing, preparing work schedules, PPD requirements
Must have ability to use hand tools in routine assembly tasks.
Must be able to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, additional hours, and in different positions as the facility requires.
