The Brown Township Board of Trustees is seeking individuals interested in a Housekeeping position. Under the direct supervision of the Board of Trustees, this position will shall maintain and clean the township hall located at 5555 State Route 521.

Essential Functions :

The Housekeeper will perform any and all work needed and should demonstrate self-direction and professionalism in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position. Maintains township physical facilities at township hall. Performs a variety of tasks involving physical labor, including but not limited to: cleaning, mopping, general maintenance, changing light bulbs, window cleaning and maintaining restrooms. The hall at 5555 State Route 521 shall be cleaned only twice a month unless it is rented and then any necessary cleaning should be performed after the rental which you will be notified of by a Trustee. Maintains sufficient materials and supplies necessary for functioning of building maintenance duties. Performs routine maintenance including changing light bulbs and maintaining restrooms Reports to the Trustees any upkeep/maintenance issue housekeeper cannot perform. Performs any additional duties as directed by Township Trustees. Proper attire is to be worn at all times while performing the essential functions of your position.

Qualifications

Understand and follow oral and/or written instructions. Attention to detail. Ability to manage time and work within deadlines. Work under the limited supervision of the Township Trustees. Be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.

This position is a part-time, compensated position with some benefits. Preference will be given to township residents. You must be 18 years of age.
