REPI Group is Hiring a Quality Assurance Manager Near Dallas, NC

Position Overview:

Handling quality assurance and process improvements across all departments to lower rework rates and drive first pass quality. Ensures that products or services meet specific quality standards and customer requirements, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and reduced costs. QA Manager also helps to identify and mitigate risks associated with the production process and to improve the overall efficiency of the production process. QA Manager will also be responsible to ensure products meet all regulatory requirements as well as product stewardship requirements.

Lead and manages EHS regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

ISO (20%)

  • Lead new efforts towards attaining ISO 45001, 14001,
  • Maintain 2015 ISO 90001
  • Handle all ISO 90001 internal and external audits
  • Lead organization towards ISO 14001, ISO 45001 certification

EHS (15%)

  • Participate in consultations on health and safety at work, as well as in the regular safety meeting
  • Create and update all the necessary documentation for the compliance with Safety and Environment obligations
  • Maintain relations with the authorities responsible for safety and the environment
  • Resolve environmental and safety requirements and non-conformities, collect and process data related to environmental monitoring (discharges, waste, emissions, energy consumption, etc.)

Quality Management System (50%)

  • Manages quality incident resolution process including completion of root cause analyses, calculation of total cost of quality, implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participates and often leads Repi’s customer claim process if related to product quality
  • Oversee and lead Regulatory Compliance activities mostly encompassing federal requirements as they relate to food contact, but also regulatory requirements related to CertiPUR, REACH, and/or other regulatory requirements or customer specific certifications, declarations, and requests
  • Participate/lead problem-solving teams, conduct root cause analysis, apply corrective/preventative actions, and implement process improvements as needed
  • Create Quality System programs, processes and procedures. Ensure implementation and function as designed throughout the operation to ensure the quality and integrity of manufactured products and services
  • Implementation of quality objectives and plans to ensure that all employees are involved in integrating quality into their processes to meet quality objectives.
  • Proposing information and training programs for workers;

Product Stewardship (15%)

  • Monitors technical, product and process developments
  • Assists Sales with all aspects of customer technical service, including product development (R&D), product specification issues and development of new customers/opportunities
  • Participates and often leads Repi’s customer claim process if related to product quality
  • Lead all product stewardship requirements.
  • Ensure all product certifications are fulfilled.
  • Maintain relationships with all regulatory, testing and certifying entities.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with a related degree, such as quality and at least five years related experience, with at least two years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must also have a good knowledge of processes, OSHA and Environmental regulations.

ISO certified

At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

Experience in thermoplastic or polyurethane industries

SAP 3 years
