JOB SUMMARY: As a Dining Supervisor, you will provide friendly, excellent service to every guest at the St. Croix Casino Danbury. Must be knowledgeable and able to perform in all areas of the restaurant including cashier, bus person, and wait staff duties. Responsible for making sure all dining room policies and procedures are followed
QUALIFICATION: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prefer at least one year experience in the restaurant profession, including supervisory experience. Must have the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Must possess leadership and management skills. Must be a motivated team player.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Work inside an assigned restaurant during an entire shift. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and oral cues. Must have the ability to effectively respond to both guest and co-workers concerns. Must have the ability to maneuver in and around tables when leading guests to be seated. Must be able to tolerate secondhand smoke and must be able to stand and walk for an eight (8) hour shift or more.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Greet guests and seat them in the restaurant on a rotating basis. Handle and solve any concerns or questions, in a fair and professional manner, from guests and co-workers. Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and assist where needed. Must be able to exercise authority and make decisions including progressive discipline.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory training. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
