KO Business Solutions is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near Darien, IL

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of HR expertise, administrative proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively support our workforce and organizational objectives.

Salary:$50,000
Location:Onsite in Darien, IL
Schedule:Monday-Friday, Full-Time Hours
Type: 3-month contract w/ opportunity for conversion

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:
    • Oversee the onboarding processes, ensuring the organization retains top talent.
    • Develop and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
    • Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels.
Talent Development and Training:
    • Work with Department Leadership to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Implement career development initiatives to support employee growth and advancement within the organization.
    • Work with President to facilitate mentorship and coaching programs to foster professional development and succession planning.
Administrative Oversight:
    • Manage administrative functions, including office operations and facilities management.
    • Work with department leadership to develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure efficiency.
    • Collaborate with department heads to optimize administrative support across the organization.
Strategic Planning Support and Reporting:
    • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing insights and recommendations related to workforce management and organizational development.
    • Prepare reports and analysis on key HR and administrative metrics, presenting findings to senior management as needed.
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field a plus; or related experience.
  • 3 years of experience in HR Functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
