Robert Half is Hiring a Human Resources (HR) Assistant Near Davis, CA

DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an efficient and detail-oriented candidate to fill the role of a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Davis, California. The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of HR administrative tasks, primarily focusing on file management and organization. This role provides an enriching office environment that values teamwork and professional growth.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all office files, ensuring they are organized and readily accessible for HR staff.
  • Sort through multiple forms and documents to appropriately categorize and file them.
  • Proactively identify discrepancies or errors in paperwork and rectify or report them immediately.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team such as creating and maintaining HR records and reports.
  • Uphold confidentiality, ensuring secure storage for sensitive and personal employee data.
  • Familiarize with ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, and other necessary skills.
  • Coordinate effectively with colleagues for training and handling queries.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software
  • Familiarity with About Time software
  • Understanding of Benefit Functions in a HR context
  • Experience with Compensation Administration
  • Knowledge of Compliance regulations in HR
  • Proven track record in managing Employee Relations
  • Ability to use non-discriminatory language and uphold equal opportunities.
