Diné Development Corporation is Hiring a Business Analyst II Near Dayton, OH

Dine Source is looking for a Business Analyst II to join our company. This individual will support the Department of Air Force Category Management as part of an integrated, collaborative, support team, comprised of mid-to-senior management analysts that are spread across functions and governance boards. The Business Analyst II will support the DAF mission through development of dashboards, performing market research, category intelligence reports, identifying potential opportunities, developing strategies (strategic sourcing, demand management, total cost of ownership and supplier relationship management), communicating strategies, documenting results, developing, and conducting presentations.
This individual will execute business processes (business requirements, strategizing, stakeholder engagement, product lifecycle phases, conduct reviews with clients, implement outputs, etc.) with minimal supervision and determine best ways forward, offer recommendations, and justify new requirements to market the standardization of new products and deliverables.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Prepares and conducts business analyses and studies, needs assessments, requirements analysis/definition and cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align business systems, solutions and initiatives.
  • Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends, reports, spreadsheets, reporting regulations and business conditions.
  • Develops and analyzes metrics, performance measurements, requirements, reports and recommendations related to management, organizational structure, policy/procedures and business systems.
  • Identifies potential business risks.
  • Gather business requirements, analyze source systems, define underlying data sources, mapping data definitions and transforming requirements, designing data models, and developing outputs for data analysis and visualizations.
  • Collaborate with business areas, project teams, various Air Force enterprise organizations and program SME’s, and inter-agency requirement owners to elicit, identify, prioritize, and document data visualization and business intelligence requirements.
  • Translate business analysis and needs into lean conceptual prototypes for reports and dashboards and contribute to visualization and design best practices.
  • Areas of focus include but are not limited to business performance, business and economic case analysis, strategy development, internal control and enterprise risk assessment and data analytics innovation .
  • Support will be conducted for specific Category Management initiatives along with a broader approach to whole-enterprise solutions for DoD stakeholders on various federal programs.
  • Analysis performed will support projects in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Total Cost Management, and Demand Management Strategies.
  • Small Business programs, and HAF-level contracting portfolios.
  • Create COOP guides and continuity materials for processes and procedures leading to product development, requirements documentation, and versioning.
  • Track and measure execution of contract deliverables through project management concepts.
  • Must be able to handle support for ad hoc business analyses.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
Experience Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
  • Three (3) years or more of Business Analyst experience in a DoD environment, preferably USAF.
  • Must be experienced in a high-demand, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must be fluid and adaptable regarding projects/tasks that may require high business acumen for strategic thinking and communication and shifting to work that requires more data-centric driven solutions.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required (ideally a Bachelors degree in Data Analytics)
Other Required Skills & Abilities
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to gather, synthesize and integrate content from multiple sources into compelling and compliant reports/decks/presentations.
  • Some experience coding in SQL and dashboard development such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.
    • Some experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) such as Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
    • A plus if knowledgeable of federal e-business systems, including but not limited to:
      • Advana
      • CDO-VAULT
      • Databricks
      • Program Management Resource Tools (PMRT)
      • Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG)
      • Microsoft Power Suite
      • Python
Security Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
