Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals in need, with a focus on promoting positive outcomes and improving their overall well-being. This role is a vital part of our organization, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Duties

  • Work directly with clients, providing individualized support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals
  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop personalized case plans to address those needs
  • Implement case plans, which may include providing counseling, connecting clients with community resources, and advocating on their behalf
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, counselors, and law enforcement, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated support
  • Participate in crisis intervention and management, providing immediate support and guidance to clients in crisis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met
  • Document all interactions with clients, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case notes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including client files and statistical reports
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including training and education, to stay current with best practices and ensure that clients receive the most effective support possible

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health and child welfare issues
  • Experience with motivational interviewing and crisis intervention
  • Experience working with children and families, including experience with childcare and family law
  • Ability to manage conflict and work effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Strong social work skills, including a commitment to the principles of social justice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
