We’re searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in one of our office locations. This position is responsible for all facets of the employee life cycle from the moment an employee signs their offer letter to their final day of employment, including supervising staff and day-to-day foundational and transaction activities. This role is responsible for HR operations, employee relations, policies, compliance, benefits, and developing employees under their supervision.

What you will do in this role:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to create, implement and manage the firm’s HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that human resource service delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and culture of the firm and in alignment with our goals and objectives.
  • Advise senior leadership and supervisors of potential human resources related issues and recommends appropriate solutions.
  • Consult with and provides guidance to management and leadership on employee relations and human resource management issues.
  • Oversee the benefits administration process and enhances employee understanding of the firm’s benefits programs through written communication, office meetings, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Direct the employee onboarding process to ensure each new employee’s experience is in line with our culture, values and mission.
  • Conduct exit interviews; provides periodic reports to management on trends, feedback and concerns.
  • Coordinate with other aspects of the human resources department as duties overlap.
  • Ensure firm compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Administer workplace safety and workers compensation programs.
  • Communicate and responds to employee issues, questions and complaints.
  • Participate on special teams and projects that help drive firm’s talent, culture and human resources goals and objectives.
  • Utilize the human resources information system (HRIS) to create data-driven insights to recommend strategic decision-making processes, optimizing operational efficiency and maximizing performance on the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage the lifecycle of projects and business operations and/or subordinates as outlined in the Supervisory Responsibility section.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of human resources management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of all facets of human resources including strategic planning, talent management and retention and progressive practices.
  • Certified human resources professional (SHRM-CP or PHR).
  • Prior experience with human resources information systems.
  • Prior experience in public accounting or another professional services organization.
