Our client, a law firm in Boston’s Seaport District is looking for a Legal Billing Specialist to join their expanding team.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$55,000 $60,000

Position Overview :

This Legal Billing Specialist position will serve as the main contact for billing attorneys and clients. The ideal Legal Billing Specialist candidate requires excellent organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Specialist :

• Manage monthly pro forma selections
• Implement attorney edits on pro formas
• Ensure adherence to billing guidelines
• Finalize and submit invoices via electronic platforms
• Follow up with clients on accounts receivable

Qualifications for the Legal Billing Specialist :

• Minimum of two years of legal (or similar) billing experience
• Strong initiative and time management abilities
• Familiarity with electronic invoice submission platforms
• Knowledge of client billing requirements and related software
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Elite Billing Software

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
