Hourly Rate: $45-65 W2 depending on experience
Job DescriptionJefferson Wells is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The engagement is expected to last approximately 3 months, starting in mid-June.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive accounting duties, including preparing financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Utilize MS Excel for various accounting tasks, including data analysis and reporting.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
- Strong accounting skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including the ability to use complex formulas and functions.
- Experience in process documentation and maintaining detailed records.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Prior experience with contract engagements is a plus.
