Robert Half is Hiring a Copywriter Near Deerfield, IL

Robert Half's client is a Fortune 500 Healthcare/Retail company searching for a Copywriter for a hybrid, contract opportunity!

Copywriter

Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 3 month contract

Pay rate: $31-$36/hr

Our Enterprise Content team provides internal teams with content strategy, planning, and execution oversight in an omni-channel capacity.

We are seeking a candidate with prior healthcare industry experience to work with our team on content for our Organic Social Media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Youtube, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with our Social Community Managers, Enterprise Content lead, and Social Intelligence teams to discuss relevant social trends, healthcare/wellness news, and any actionable content needs for our channels.
  • Work directly with the Social CMs and Enterprise Content team to develop any net-new content needs that come from those meetings – aligning priority sales promotions, products, or brand voice into the assets.
  • Plan content for our channels that relate to Marketing Initiatives, Holiday Observances, and additional Enterprise requests on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage and prioritize a busy workload to help us jump on urgent needs with creative problem solving and new content creation when applicable.
  • Work closely with our Designer and Social CMs to develop copy for creative application, caption copy and ensure all platform best practices are applied in copy application to content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience working as a Copywriter
  • Previous experience working with healthcare companies REQUIRED
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working on marketing and/or advertising projects
  • Agency or brand experience as a copywriter creating ad or promotional copy for a variety of digital channels, predominantly social.
  • Social savvy – aware of trends, content styles, platform behaviors and tuned-in to pop culture relevancy
  • Experience crafting and editing guidelines and standards documentation
  • Experience producing written work for web-based promotions, page layouts and other creative projects outside of social.
  • Strong ability to establish unique brand voice and positioning via social.
