Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all paving activities on construction projects
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Manage and train paving crew members
- Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, equipment, and labor needed
- Schedule and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment used
- Manage and maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Assist with budget management and cost control
- Previous experience as a Paving Superintendent or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of paving, asphalt, and heavy highway construction
- Experience with roadway and DOT projects
- Proficiency in milling, stripping, and signage
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
