Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is Hiring a Veterinary Technician (part time- exotics) Near Dennis, MA
- Obtain vital signs, provide food, and monitor patients for pain/comfort following surgical procedures.
- Check IV catheters for patency and bandages for fit and cleanliness.
- Administer oral and intravenous medications according to doctors' orders.
- Communicate with the specialists and nursing staff effectively regarding patient status and medical treatments Schedule and Benefits Include (but are not limited to)
- This position is for Thursday overnights, with the option of a second overnight shift
- The second shift would include non-exotic post-operative patients.
- The initial training schedule may differ.
- Generous compensation based on industry standards
- Uniform stipend
- Full-time Veterinary Social Worker on site for employees and clients

- Previous experience as a veterinary technician, with the knowledge of and the ability to administer oral and intravenous medications confidently
- Ability to solve mathematical equations for medication dosages
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking to problem-solving
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
