Responsibilities
- Month-end close tasks: journal entries, bank and account reconciliations
- Account reconciliations include: General Fund, Payroll, Credit Card, tuition refund, and other smaller bank accounts
- Review cash disbursements for adherence to procedures
- Monitors collateral for college bank accounts
- File sales tax returns and make monthly payments
- Maintain and prepare unclaimed property filing for the state
- Other tasks as assigned
- 5 years of experience with staff accounting responsibilities
- Advanced Excel experience (including creating Pivot Tables and performing VLookups)
- Degree in accounting or finance is appreciated, but not required
- Open to learning and asking questions when needed
- Go-getter who is ready to tackle any tasks as needed
