Shift: All shifts
Hours: 1st 06:00 am - 02:00 pm, 2nd 02:00 pm - 10:00 pm, 3rd 10:00 pm - 06:00 am

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Teardown, set up, and start an extruder line with direction from Cell Lead
- Must know how to use calipers, micrometer, gauges, other measuring devices, and mating parts to ensure quality products and parts meet customer specifications
- Ability to read blueprints
- Monitor various inspection/production reports to ensure the production of quality product
- Efficiently manage production of product from start to finish of run
- Minimize scrap and regrind
- Maximize efficiency to reduce overall set-up and start-up time
- Must be capable of, but not always required to watch over multiple extrusion lines
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Strictly adheres to Company and Plant safety policies and procedures
- Will assist other operators, as well as production packer on an as needed basis
- Operation of Forklift
- Material Handling functions
- Troubleshooting
- Adheres to and supports the company's vision, mission, and goals
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in set-up and/or extrusion process
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to communicate/read/write in English
- Forklift certification preferred
