Shaw Search Partners is proud to partner with national renowned and publicly traded financial services company seeking a Public Relations Manager.
The Public Relations Manager will help to develop programs that support the growth of various companies within the portfolio:
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public relations programs
- Identify and develop story opportunities
- Initiate and maintain media relationships
- Write press releases, articles and pitch story ideas
- Plan and manage press tours, conferences and events
- Take the lead in multiple concurrent projects
- Act as a media advocate for C-suite and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of public relations or related experience
- Strong experience in writing, creative storytelling, pitching, and media relations
- Experience with financial services or technology industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
This is a hybrid role based in Detroit. Relocation assistance may be offered.
