Summary :

Accurately and efficiently assembles / tests a variety ofmoderately complex products to achieve customer quality and ontimedelivery schedules.

May perform lockwiring first stage subassemblyand final detailing functions. Works on products that containmechanical components single hydraulic systems and multiple partnumbers.

Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increaseproductivity and reduce costs.

Receives generalsupervisory guidance.

JobResponsibilities :

• Performsmoderately complex assembly / test functions utilizing mechanicalskills hand and power tools mechanical / electronic tools testequipment assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment ina manufacturing environment.
• Records testresults on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipmentand flow measurement devices. May use XY recorders oscilloscopestransducers and other related equipment.
• Identifies malfunctions disclosed by test data andreworks as instructed.
• Interprets blueprintsengineering orders assembly routes test specifications servicebulletins customer requirements and quality directives.
• Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to productspecifications. Assembles tests and / or solders to customer and / orindustry standards.
• Performs touchup or fullsurface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paintlacquer glaze etc. Mixes paint and cleans parts.
• Actively participates in lean initiatives by identifyingand providing suggestions on areas for improvement.
• May assist in training less experienced teammembers.
• Observes all safety rules andmaintains a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
• Ensures all equipment is calibrated in accordance withcalibration schedule.

Job Requirements :

• Two or more years industry related experience inassembly / test in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrate productand process knowledge by applying it to newly learnedtechniques.
• Able to select appropriateprocedures techniques tools and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints routesheets and test specifications. Perform basic mathematicalcalculations as well as demonstrate effective verbal written andbasic computer skills.
• Possess strongmechanical reasoning.
• Able to implement andeffectively apply lean initiatives.
• Possesseffective interpersonal communication skills as well as the abilityto work in a team environment.
• Able tointerpret reports and use standard business software applications.Able to use employee selfservice to access online information anduse specialized automated systems (i.e. PMR TORS email).
• May require soldering certification per customerrequirements.
• Ability to effectivelydemonstrate team member competencies and participate in goalsetting performance feedback and selfdevelopmentactivities.
