Field Sales Representative:

This position is responsible for business development in the West Region of U.S. with a predominant focus on Freight Forwarding and Chemicals Logistics, to utilize his or her knowledge to identify, quantify and sell into new accounts, establish long-term business relationships with customers, work closely with each region and use all available resources from the group to convert all prospects to potential clients, this role reports to the West District Sales Head.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Customer Acquisition:

Identify and target potential clients in need of freight forwarding services.

Develop and implement strategies to attract new business and expand the customer base.

· Sales Presentations:

Conduct sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of the freight forwarding services offered. Clearly articulate the value proposition and address client needs.

· Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.

· Quotation and Pricing:

Prepare and present accurate and competitive quotations based on client requirements.

Negotiate pricing and terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

· Market Research:

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Utilize market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.

· Collaboration with Operations:

Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments and timely delivery.

Provide necessary information and documentation for successful cargo handling.

· Sales Targets:

Set and achieve sales targets and objectives in line with the company's overall goals.

Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

· Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure that all sales-related documentation is accurate and complies with relevant regulations.

Stay informed about trade compliance laws and requirements.

· Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Provide insights to the management team for decision-making.

· Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of successful field sales experience and/or key account management experience in freight forwarding industry in the U.S.

· Bilingual in Chinese is highly preferred, but not required.

· Excellent time management, problem solving, presentation and communications skills.

· Strong business sense with the ability to drive growth.

· Great team player, result-oriented with open mind, ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

· Able to work out of regular office hours to communicate with overseas offices and clients occasionally.

· U.S. working permit is required. We do not sponsor working visas for this role.

· Able to travel (15%).
